Windshield washer fluid pump

great news! my problem is solved! what was wrong was either clog or a kink in the hose. It was interesting; my fluid would not shoot out when the hood was closed but I for some reason had the car's hood open and pulled the fluid switch and it sure enough worked. So i closed the hood, tried the switch, and it didn't work! So I disconnected the right-angle part of the hose set up where is goes into the hood of the car (bottom right side of the hood if you are looking at the engine bay). pressed the switch and it worked, great pressure and a clean flow, which meant it was in the hose inside the hood. Instead of taking the heat cover off of the inside of the hood to get to the hose, I just wiggled and twisted the hose as much as i could hoping to break any gunk loose or fix any kinks. reconnected the right angle piece and closed the hood. after spitting and sputtering from air pockets, the fluid blasted out of the nozzles, good as new. I now have back my weapon I use against tailgaters

I must say thank you to the two above who helped give insight and advice, It was much appreciated.

Im just glad I didnt have to take the car apart to fix it! or spend any money for that matter. I do feel silly though, goes to show that when something doesn't work, dont always think the worst and think something is broken; try troubleshooting the obvious stuff and you might get lucky!
