      here we go, the 2 wires of the iat were touching because i had 1 of those performance "chips" hooked up. i got tired of it so i took it off and had to resolder the 2 wires back on the iat (good thing i saved the plug) i guess after driving around in the bakersfield heat, the solder points melted just enough for the 2 ends to touch and put the car in "limp mode" so after the diagnostic test and reset, all that was needed was some rubber tape and embarrasment

      Those "chips" are a joke, all they are is a resistor that will eventually burn out your cat.

      Easy cure to this shifting problem though, pour 2 bottle of NOS energy drink in your gas tank, but make sure your almost out of gas first. Cures all ailments.

      can anyone that has been on here find that thread i made about the guy who did this to his bike? it was the one on the bike fourm where they troubleshooted about 300 posts until someone brought this up :P

      dont do this though, unless you plan on swapping in a new engine
