Worn Windshield Wiper linkage keeps popping off 2007 chevy aveo.

Where can I buy the windshield wiper linkage white plastic bushing for a 2007 Chevy Aveo Sedan LS. I've looked everywhere and can't find it.

I seen these clips Worn Windscreen Wiper Linkage? Repair in minutes with our repair clip - YouTube but they don't fit 07 aveo sedan.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

      Thanks,

      Keith

      Keith,

Have you tried contacting your local Chevy dealership parts department? Also, maybe try calling or visiting your local Advance Auto Zone store. Here is the link Advance Auto Parts: Car, Engine, Batteries, Brakes, Replacement, Performance & Accessories. Good luck and hope you find the bushing.

      Hi Vanessa,

Yeah I called two different Chevy dealerships, autozone and O Reilly's. The dealership said they only sold the whole linkage arm. They said they don't sell the bushings separate. Autozone and O Reilly's said they don't have the bushings.

      Keith,

Maybe continue searching and something will show up on the Internet. Hopefully someone else chimes in with an answer. You may have to buy the entire windshield wiper part and use the bushing and store away the other part until you need it.

Good luck! Let us know if you're able to locate just the bushing.

most companies only sell the whole linkage, even worse many come with a new motor which really drives up cost.

short of pulling your bushings and matching them up, you will be buying the whole linkage. Since this isn't a common problem, its probably a fluke yours went bad, so you could get away with a used one.I see them on ebay for less the $40 shipped.

I know this post is OLD! But in case new people are searching for the wiper linkage bushings for the '07 Aveo, I have found them! Took a long time typing in all the different part #s of all the bushings, Here it is,Dorman Windshield Wiper Linkage Bushing 49464. I am ordering them , But it says it fits my car on several auto websits when searching for parts for my car and entering this item #. I'll update this forum if they don't fit.
