Fuel price in South Africa keeps rising!! almost R10 a liter!! thats about $4.62 a gallon!!....and a word of advice, dont fill up with Sasol. as much as i would love to support local businessess, i honestly believ that their fuel burns way faster than others or something. My friend filled his car up with fuel from Caltex before going on a road trip. He did the same with BP. He covered way more distance with BP.... I got no clue if the rate at which fuel burns differs between oil refineries but I personally only throw petrol from BP in my car. From my experience BP lasts way longer. It might not be the "cleanest" fuel though

      Hi Wezzo,

i have a Chev Aveo LS 1.6 as well and would like to know more about the Fuel Management system upgrade.

How long does it take them to do it?
What do they do when upgrading the FMS (Fuel Management System)?
What is the cost of doing this at a GM dealership?

I live in Cape Town and my work place it quite far from where i stay, I travel to work for about 45min and the disctance from my place to work one way is about 46km so to round it off to work and back home cost me about R100 ($11.75) So if the fuel management system improves the fuel economy then ill be very intrested to upgrage my FMS.

      Regards
      Mightyspider.
