My 2005 Aveo's original 1.2l engine packed up. Now I'm looking to buy a new engine, one that is much much faster. I'm thinking of getting a Opel x18xe1 engine and fit that. Can anyone please assist me on my situation, that is will the engine fit, will the gearbox work on the x18xe1 ? And what ever else I'm going to need to replace etc... Please I'm really desperate on getting my car fixed up.

If you're going Opel, why not the 1.6 turbo? Should fit with no issues. Most likely will need the gearbox from that motor though.
Can you maybe give me a model number? I'm not very good with engines :p

What about the DAEWOO F18D3 1.8 E-TEC III 16V ? What will I have to replace and buy extra, gearbox, computerbox etc ? Please guys I really need to get my car fixed
