I'm not really out of luck, just the measurements that were used didn't work out. I'm not gaining anything or loosing anything by those measurements. You're in trouble though if you need help measuring the bottom of the door.

I'm pretty sure the bottom of my front door didn't change 'cause I have a body kit on... it didn't come with front door bottom edge extensions...
