Went and saw a Chevrolet Sonic (Chicago Auto Show)

Well, I just got back from a pretty fun day at the Chicago Auto Show. I sat in a Sonic and I must say it looks pretty nice. I think it was the LTZ model, so it was loaded. But, having driven my 2005 and a 2010 Aveo (rented one on a recent trip to California for a few days) I think its a step in the right direction. The interior has a nice layout and the fabric is nice and high quality (interior quality is pretty low on the 1st gens IMO, but its pretty good on the 2nd gens). The gauge cluster is interesting and I think I'd like it. The exterior, especially the front end, looks very nice in person.

If they can get the suspension tightened up it will be a very nice little car.

Unfortunately, I didn't. I had to wait like 5 minutes just to sit in it! The Chevy booth was very busy.

LOL- On the one hand it's too bad you couldn't get some "man on the street"( or is that man on the platform? )shots. On the other, that's a good sign that they were busy- means they had stuff to display the public is interested in. Thanks for reporting back your experience.

I'm sure the line will be shorter for it than the z06 and camaro..
the invite it also have a picture of the spark, but it wasn't on the list of cars.
