This car was a rental for six months before I owned it. I'm replacing interior parts that look bad. It's amazing what six months of people that don't give a you-know-what can do. It still looks great, but I want it to look like a new car, because it is.
I've replaced the all the silver covers on the console and on the door pull handles (over $100). I'm waiting on money, so I can buy new seat upholstery ($85+ship) for the passenger-side seat and a couple of the dashboard components($100). I need to replace the main dashboard section because it has three tiny dents on the carbon fiber section, but it is $200 and I don't want to spend that much for a car that I will be trading in for the chevy cruze. I've had the passenger-side door handle replaced under warranty because it snapped in half, a console plug that keeps falling out, and I'm getting the a/c fan-control knob replaced under warranty because the chrome is peeling off of it. What a great car chevy made! There's a reason that they stopped making the aveo. Overall, it's not a bad car, though.
