2011 Chevy Aveo5 ls 1.6L (manual) and the shifter feels loose.

To start, I recently got a 2011 Chevy Aveo Hatchback, This is my first car and first manual so I don't know if it is loose. It feels like all the gears are really far to the right, and there is alot of slack (enough to make me think im in nuetral) in each gear. I want to install a short throw shifter to tighten things up but can't find a kit, I also can't find the necicary bushings to (hopfully) fix the current shifter. Along with that i have a few other mods that someone could help me with.
I want to do the DIC mod but don't know if I have the LCD screen already in it.
I want to install a remote start for the cold winter months. (Don't know what model to get).
