Automatic Gearbox

Hi, I have a problem with my Chevy Aveo 2010 Automatic gearbox. The gearbox doesn't change gears. When I start it and put in on Drive then it goes normal but when it's supposed to change to a higher gear then it starts over raving as if it is in Neutral (I think it goes into neutral). Could this be mechanical or an electrical fault? How do I go about diagnosing the problem?

i recommend you take this one to the professionals.

BUUUUUT if you want to take your gearbox off and take it apart to find out whats damaged, i would love to see all the photos.
ill provide any documentation i can find to assist you. and if you are in cape town area ill even come visit.

Thanks David, but I think I will let the expect do the work. I was just trying my luck in case it was something small that can be done by a novice like me.
