I've not seen mention of anybody swapping out the oil pan plug with a valve to quickly change the oil without any wrenches. Mine got installed early, and since then the oil-drain issue has been a breeze. My Aveo has so much ground clearance I can easily reach the drain valve without driving the car onto stands. My valve got selected because it was available at the car parts place. It's a push-twist-lock type with horrible Amazon reviews, but has worked well for me for several years. Knowing what I know now, I'd get a fancier model if doing it again.
