Having a crank no start issue just recently got the car any help is appreciated

2007 chevy aveo5 with the 1.6 and five speed.
When I try to start the car my scan tool and tach will read 0 rpm but engine cranks strong, the fuel pump primes and builds up to 60psi. I didn't check for spark but can prove I have spark if I spray a small amount of starting fluid in the throttle body the car fires up usually right away and runs fine after along with reads rpm on the tach and scantool I can also sometimes start it right away after as long as I don't let it sit long other times it won't start without some spray any help would be appreciated. Also the only code I am getting is for the 02 sensor because the wires are broken right after the sensor I'm leaning to a crank or cam sensor but im not for certain that is my issue.
Update I let the car sit and idle outside for 10 mins while I was finishing up some stuff on my other car now the car start fine the scan tool still shows 0 rpm on crank not sure if this helps me at all at this point I can hear the pump prime even on first crank not sure why it doesn't fire without starting fluid on cold starts.
