      OEM Block heater wattage?

      Hello,

Does anyone know how many watts the factory block heater for a 2010 Aveo draws? I was testing mine out and its only pulling 150 watts which seems pretty paltry for a block heater.

I came looking for the same information... My 2009 aveo5 has an OEM block heater which is only drawing 138W, as measure by a Kill-a-Watt...
The cord leading to the factory block heater says 'rated to 1800W'... Thus my surprise at the 140w draw....alike to you. 🙄🤨

150w is really all you should need…. You should be good to go.
