      oil pressure light

Oil pressure light started flickering at hot idle. Developed a bad leak. Replaced the sender. The leak is completely gone but the light still flickers just takes longer to do it and flickers not as bad. Suggestions?

It always amazes me to read people posting that they continue driving with an oil light on. Oil pressure test and, if the pressure is low, consider looking around for a new engine.

what caused the leak in the first place? I thought the sender is really a low pressure switch
