      Question about sensors

I am new to this forum, I'm a follower of the geo metro forum mostly, but have recently purchased an 04 swift plus which has the exact layout of a chevy aveo. My question is, under the intake manifold there is a sensor that has a red wire and a white wire in the plug for it, it also has what looks to me as either a fuel line or a vacuum line attached to it, what exactly is the sensor and what purpose does it serve?

To make BOOMs you need a combination of fuel and air. Air density is function of air temperature. In order to optimize the ratio, the computer measures the air temp and makes a best guess on the right amount of fuel. Of course this is confirmed by the O2 sensors before and after the CAT.
Please do not power off, firmware update pending.....

Not to sound rude or ignorant, no intention of being either on this forum, but i know what the iat is and this sensor is not in the intake piping, its underneath the intake manifold, and i think it has something to do with vacuum pressure for the fuel system, it has a line attached to it with a yellow fuel tag/sticker on it, long story short, its been fixed, wires were broken off of the plug, and the coolant temp sensor plug was half unplugged throwing all kinds of codes and making it run like crap, all fixed. Thank you for the info and for the diagram of sensors.
