Where is the cargo / trunk light on a 2005 Aveo Hatchback?

Hi guys! I have a 2005 Aveo Hatchback LS and the cargo/trunk light stays on? Where is the switch located for this? I try closing the hatchback and light stays on. When I bought this car it didn't have a bulb in the light socket. I see why now.. lol.. Is the switch on the door it self or the bottom just above the bumper where the latch is at? I tried looking online, diagrams etc but this eludes me. Thanks!

For those that wondered about this the switch itself is actually on the hatchback door, built into latch mechanism. No where near the striker area. In case anyone needs the GM part number it's 96413276 without power locks like mine. With power lock it's 96413277. They run about $63 at the dealer for the one without power locks.
