1000... make that 2000 members! Now 3000... 5000 ... 8000

Just noticed our numbers have passed the 1K mark! 1002 as of this morning. That's not quite as many as the 7000 or so accounts there were when we started cleaning up the site back at the start of the year. But most of those were bot/spammer accounts that we killed. Our real starting point after that housecleaning was ~695 legit members. That much growth in 6 months is a good sign for the Aveo community!

Looks like we passed the 2000 members mark today. That's pretty good, I think: 1k new registrations in about 10 months.

And most of them aren't spammers! `

Just noticed that sometime last month or in Feb we snuck past the 3k mark.

Of course, not everyone sticks around, but the number of "regulars" hanging around is on the rise too, it seems.

We hit the 5k mark today. Pretty cool.

The number of "active" members has stayed relatively constant, in a range between 260-310. (The forum considers anyone who has logged in over the past 30 days as "active".)

Obviously we get a lot of new members signing up just to ask a maintenance/troubleshooting question, and then they disappear.

But the fact they sign up at all is a testament to the good info & helpful members we've got here.

So congrats are in order to the regulars! And welcome to all the noobs!
