      2006 Aveo LS Clock

I am in need of a NEW Clock Module. All of the GM sources state that the Clock is discontinued.
I have tried to secure a used unit, however all of them have the burned smudged mark in the upper right corner.
Currently, the original unit has the airbag light lit, and will not pass inspection.
Does anybody have a fix for this, like a workaround, or another style 20 pin clock?

      Thanks in advance.

If you have the skills, you can do what I did with mine. I removed the assembly and reflowed the solder points on the pcb and it works lie new. I also did it with the gauge cluster to fix the odometer display.

      Thanks for the reply.
I have found + purchased another Clock Module, for $35.00.
I believe that they Key to this dilemma, is to search for a used unit under 60K miles on the vehicle.
As I pondered my own past experience with the flickering "passinger seat air-bag" lamp, I recall that
all of that started at the Cursed, 60K mark.
As far as your suggestion for re-soldering the IC circuit board, I opened and perused the said connections,
I fail to see any gaps, or openings. I do see some over-heated or burning out electrical components.
Could be capacitors. I will take another look. Not sure I have the skill set that you process.
      Many thanks for your Help.
