'Cliking' sound made by the turning lights

Can the loudness of the sound be modified?

As far as I know the turn signal sound on the Aveo is not artificial and the sound your hearing is the flasher relay itself, therefore there isn't really much you can do to quiet it other than possibly putting insulation around the relay.
