Keep a light foot.
Yeah.. I coast in neutral when I can, accelerate moderately to keep the BSFC up and don't speed when I don't have to. I'd like to be able to see that what I'm doing is in the right direction (pun intended).Originally Posted by hammsaveo

It's an OBD-II tool: so it lets you monitor all your OBD-II parameters like:
* Fuel Rate
* Battery Voltage
* Coolant Temperature
* Intake Air Temperature
* Engine Speed (RPM)
* Vehicle speed (MPH)
* Manifold Pressure (not available on some vehicles)
* Engine Load
* Throttle Position
* Ignition Timing
* Open/Closed Loop
* Fuel Economy
You can use it to read / reset the check engine light codes. I've done this on a bunch of my family members' cars with my Scangauge - everything from loose gas caps to actual problems that needed fixing.
Plus it's also a trip computer that stores:
* Maximum Speed
* Average Speed
* Maximum Coolant Temperature
* Maximum RPM
* Driving Time
* Driving Distance
* Fuel Used
* Trip Fuel Economy
* Distance to Empty
* Time to Empty
* Fuel to Empty
It does a bunch of other stuff as well. http://www.scangauge.com/features/
