This is why most manual transmissions, when driven sensibly, will get better mileage than a automatic transmission.

This contest is a neat idea. Especially since my 400$ auto xray took a crap.

This contest idea is a good motivator to explore this forum more and chime in on discussions. Makes it more fun... looking forward to the results.
