FYI, I just got this note from our hosting company:

On Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 03:00 am EST, we will be performing upgrades to our core network infrastructure which may cause an interruption of service.

We expect there to be limited service outages lasting no longer than 15-30 minutes at a time.
So if you're trying to get your forum fix around that time and nobody's answering, that'll be why.
