New contest (ended June 15): Win $150 in Aveo aftermarket parts or a ScanGauge

Congrats to byron84 who won our first contest!

Seemed like there was lots of interest the first time around, so we're doing it again. Same prizes, same rules. (Actually, I think we're adding another vendor -- Tim (Daox) can clue me in about that tomorrow.)

And we're very happy to announce that Linear Logic - the company that makes the ScanGauge II - is now on board as an AveoClub sponsor and will be furnishing that prize, if the winner chooses it. Thanks, Linear Logic!

Prizes:

Prize consists of either a ScanGauge II automotive computer from Linear Logic, or $150.00 worth of aftermarket Aveo parts in the form of a credit with one of the following vendors:

To recap: winner's choice of either a ScanGauge II, or a $150.00 gift certificate / credit with one of the above vendors.

Rules:

1) All posts made in the forum during the contest period -- from May 1 through June 15th (midnight, E.S.T.) -- are eligible to win, via a random draw. That means the more you post in the forum, the better your odds of winning. (And the odds are still pretty great - do the math!)

2) If the winner chooses the ScanGauge II, shipping is included within North America. Outside of North America, winner pays shipping. If the winner chooses aftermarket parts credit/gift certificate, he/she is responsible for arranging shipping details with the vendor.

3) Winner will be announced on June 16 and must state in the forum or to one of the Admins which prize they're claiming within 5 days of the contest closing. Otherwise, a new name will be randomly chosen and the prize re-awarded.

4) Past winners aren't eligible to win again

Hey Metro...any chance you could add NextGenTuning.com to the list? I just missed the last contest. I'm updating the site on a regular basis. So just because you don't see a particular part on the site...doesn't mean I can't get it. The website will be a never ending work in progress.

Thats pretty cool stuff! It will be interesting to see how far a sponsorship in the forum from an interested vendor can grow. I like this, it will take alot of work by the members but there is a definite possibility here.

You should be proud of taking charge of reviving this forum. And you should be proud of keeping it as clean as it is. Just that would keep me coming back here and posting. I think the main reason we all come here is for good info. Getting a chance at a prize is just and added bonus. 8)

Well, as long as they're actually posting relative and useful info that will make this site a better resource we should be fine. Plus, I'm sure if the conversations get way too out of hand the admins will straighten them out really quick.

i think ill be getting the front strut bar from throwdown, i had a hard time picking from the scangauge and bars, but since i already have many programs that do what the scangauge does, i picked the bar, but couldnt decide from the front or rear one #-o

i think that the front one would have more of an impact, so thats what im going with probably
