I just changed the permissions for the garage - no point in making new members wait to add their cars.

We'll just have to keep an eye out to make sure spammers don't abuse it. (I'd like to say it's unlikely, but they can be a very determined bunch.)

friends, not saying, but I think the garage should be forced to have pictures of the cars (there are many members who do not have pictures and it use the space -a lot GARAGES empty-)

I was thinking of sending email / PM to the people who don't have pictures - to remind them to post one.

Even if they don't have a camera, just grab a picture of a similar aveo from Google Images. That would be better than nothing.

Also, I will clean up the empty garages this week.

I just checked, and less than half of the garage entries have photos:

There are 19 pages in the garage (20 cars per page), and if I set it to show only garages with photos there are 8 pages.

That's not good.

EDIT:

There's an admin option that hides garage entries with no photos. Members can still create / view / edit their own garage, but until there's a photo added, only the garage owner can see it.

Maybe what we can do is ask people to add a photo before the end of this month.

At the end of the month, we can switch on the option that hides the ones with no photos.

I don't think that's too much to ask!
