Re: 05 Aveo Fuel Pump Problem

I have no power from the yellow wire w/black stripe coming from the
      oil sender.
got the car to start and run, changed the oil filter and used some starting fluid.
ran a couple of minutes and finally died out.

I have fire to the fuel pump when the iignition is on.

got a couple of codes this time

      po337 crank sensor low input
po452 evaporated emmission system pressure switch low input.

if the diagram is right, the sensor on the side of the block with the yellow/black wire is the knock sensor or crank position sensor, not the oil pressure sensor, it has a dark green wire which provides a ground if no pressure. So if you unplug that, it will be like the sensor is fine. And if that is the problem the car will run.

Re: 05 Aveo Fuel Pump Problem

I finally got the thing running all I did was clean the
oil sending unit wires or I think it is the oil sender
it is right below the oil filter.

but now the oil light came on after about 10 minutes of running

going to get a gage to check the pressure and see what it is.

if it's good I would guess I will need a sending unit.

      Thanks for all the help

anyone know how to fix the seat belts in the back
      to make them work?
mine will not pull out they are hung.

I had the same problem and I replaced the entire fuel pump assembly. I should have just went here and checked this thread before making more drastic decisions.
