I have had several different mechanics on this car, primarily because I would get that car fixed, it would break fairly quickly, then i'd go to a different mechanic because I figured the original one had no idea what he (or she) was doing. It does not appear that it was the mechanics, given that the car has not run properly since about a year after I purchased it.

I had the K frame, ball joints, control arms, struts and mounts replaced. See my last post above for the reason why all of this had to be replaced.

Have you had a 2nd shop check the car out? Most tire and alignment shops will do a free estimate. What reason did the first shop give for the problem after "replacing the front end"?
