so i just wonder, why would they make a cf hood for one set of model years and not another?
the sedan update seems much more popular than the original sedan, or the hatchback... at least in my area. Makes sense to start there to test the market.
see i always thought the hatch was the most popular version of the aveo, so i would think that they would start there. :?:
lol, out here i dont see any people my age (20) driving around aveo hatchbacks, theyre usually 30+ and i almost always see the 04-06 sedans....
WTF!!!!! i want this for my freaking 05 hatch dammit!!!
It all usually depends on the available test car...
Checked on this. Grand total for this piece is $513.08, but there is NO info on the 'lightened weight' you will get from this hood. For this price to be deemed as 'useful', the new carbon hood weight is needed. If it's only 10 lbs. lighter( I'm sure it's more than that), you will be paying approx 51 bucks per pound removed. The lighter this hood is, the less it will be for price per pound, and may then be deemed as useful. 5 hundy is a lot of dough for 'bling'. Maybe an e-mail to these guys is in order for a product weight? And tell 'em to make a hatchback hood, with a scoop on the passenger side to 'force ram' air to our Short ram intakes! Am I asking too much here?
