Replacing a clutch I got the axles free from the knuckle does it pry out of the transmission on the passenger side or unbolt?
Replacing a clutch I got the axles free from the knuckle does it pry out of the transmission on the passenger side or unbolt?
Thanks for posting back and updating the thread,
I did my left hand CV axle about two weeks back and it just 'pops' out when you pry it from the tranny, although I have an automatic transmission and yours manual (guess it's the same setup with the retaining ring on the spline gear), now I know for sure!
Cheers
this isn’t a great picture of the end I had to tie a ratchet strap around the axle and then to the gas pipe on the side of the gas meter no attached to any gas lines so no one has a heart attack but to hold it straight so I could get it to come out
Heys thanks for info so both sides pry out no bolts to take off pulling motor ask last week for help got none was asking if u can pull it and leave tranny in got no reply
