back in high school i used to do 300 pushups a night, no joke. would take me like two hours but...thats when i was in football and was in awesome physical, now it would take me aweek to knock out 300, maybe longer.
Yeah, I was varsity wrestling in high school. Our workouts were a little different, but I used to be able to do 100 no problem.
Ah those were the days :lol:Quote:

100 pushup days are long gone for me. when i was in HS and it great shape it was no problem. Ex HS football player here. Now that I'm 45 all the pounding I took in my teen years is definitely taking its toll on me now.
I'm in much better shape now than I was in High School could only do about 40 then... I was in decent shape but better now. In HS, I couldn't carry a 160 pound person down 4 flights of stairs without getting winded... I can now... and I'm 30. As for my size, I'm 5'5" 117 pounds.Quote:

I will never cut weight like that again. Other than that I loved to hear the other guy scream when I did the guillotine...Quote:

I used to wrestle for Spencerport, NY (years ago) @125 and 135. I wasn't great, but our team was (I think they won states again this year). Every year I either ended up with the flu or pneumonia though. But right about the time I finished wrestling in high school, I was the healthiest I've ever been. But 4 years of college drinking pretty much did me in. I've been recovering from that for two years now. I'd like to say I'll get in that good of shape again in my life, but I don't know. I find that a lack of team sports as you get older really hinders the process of getting back in shape.Quote:
