Heck i would sell you my 09 with 43k miles for 6 grand... and its got a lot of good parts :P
I would buy the car (04) that had the timing belt done, only it there is documentation supporting it.
The 07 is already more money, but then another close to $400-500 in immediate maintenance is required.
I would also look at each cars service history. the difference in years and similar mileage on the 07 means more miles in less time which typically also shows lack of maintenance. But that is never a given the less mileage old car might be as well..
