2004 Aveo hach rear seats stuck down

My 04 Aveo hachback
Rear seats fold fold down, but the latches to lift and fold it forward are stuck. I think dirt or rust. I pulled hard enough that I broke one of the plastic loop releases. Can I get a good photo of the latch on the bottom of the seat and floor of the car? Wondering if I can unbolt something under the car that will allow me to lift and repair the laches. Any help would be appreciated!

Anyone here with a hatchback? I'm about to take a sawzall to it and hope for the best? Any one know if the rear seat latch is a U shaped thing that may bolt in from the underside or is it more complex than that? After I cut it I'll need to replace parts.
