I have an 05 with a manual trans. Its a slow, underpowered, economical car, with no real luxuries other than power windows and locks.

However, I like my Aveo for what it is. Its got a engine that I can depend on, heat in the winter, and AC in the summer. Parts are cheap and easy to come by, and fuel economy is outstanding. It is also very easy to work on and one of those cars that doesn't have a warning sensor or light for every doohickey; it is a very simple design. My Aveo is my beater car; my Jeep Grand Cherokee is what I comes out on the weekends and for the long trips.
