2009 Aveo 5, manual transmission, just started sputtering...

This just started this morning. At idle it wants to stall and it feels like it's not running on all cylinders. I took it for a drive and it feels like it's lost half it's power. I can feel the sputter in all gears, like it's chugging. Any ideas out there, or has someone had the same experience? Thanks.

I'm smelling gas outside the vehicle as well. I guess I'll see what the garage thinks.

I just started having this issue!!! I haven't been able to find out much, but my buddy's gave me 3 options. Fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, or fuel pump.
I also found another thread where someone put iridium plugs in and it started sputtering, put new coppers in and it fixed it.
IF ANYONE HAS A FOR SURE ANSWER PLEASE LET US KNOW THIS IS MY ONLY CAR lol

Check your oxygen sensors is my best advice, mainly the upstream oxygen sensor. 2009-2011s with the ecotec engine are fairly known for this. Causing a sudden lack of power and chugging.

My girlfriend's Mazda recently would not start it wanted to and died immediately in her case it was the Mass Air Flow Sensor which is located on the air intake hose between the air filter and the injector if you see a box or other item connected the hose with some wires if you see this try to disconnect it and see if it runs if so it will be rough (at least in our case) if so you can try to clean it with solvent if no changes replace but it will be somewhat expensive. Otherwise you have to narrow it down to electric, fuel or, emission depending on what it sounds like.
