If you are still on warranty there is no reason not to. Find out how many complaints they need before they issue a recall so those of us who are off warranty can get it fixed too

I will think of a better signature later.
I would suggest if you are off warranty to do the same thing that I did, get onto GMs website, go to Chevrolet and you can send them a message just as I did. That's how a recall will get started, more custormers contacting them about the same problem, not just one guy. Did you do this when you first discovered the noise?
Just because you are not still under warranty does not mean you are not still a customer. Give it a whirl, see what happens. I just don't have the time to get a recall started by myself, that's why I probably won't let the dealer have the car back. Usually when one of the cars goes in for some warranty work, I get it back and there's something else wrong that they screwed up or the seats or carpet have grease on them or the paint is scratched. I stay away from them as much as possible. That's is why with this problem, I went right to GM, because I let the dealer have the car on two previous occasions and they didn't fix it.
I know we will have to contact GM at some point, I'm going to head over to the dealership I have been using in the next few days.

Yeah, I'm going to swing by the dealership next week and show them what I did to fix it and call GM back to let them know also. If everyone would contact GM, there would be a much better chance of getting something done about it. Here are a couple pics of the tubing and door seal. I also did two short vids of driving down the road and the howling it makes, then stopped put the tubing in and how the noise is then gone. I just have to figure out how to get them on here.
Well, so far so good. I've driven in some pretty heavy winds and no noise. The dealer and GM are off the hook of course, I talked to them both and they were definitely interested in what fixed it. Anyway, just thought I'd follow up for anyone interested.
I have the noise in heavy winds but I have the older body style and have Vent shades (for the rain drips on the out sides) I think it from them. But I play music loud most of the time, so I never hear that stuff only when I do not have the Music or quite parts in songs.
But that a another place I will have to check out. The noise, that with the window open only or closed that you hear it. I all so drive with the window up most of the time unless I driving 55 k/m or under in city.
But it's amazing what you can hear when you do not play music loud lol.

How far did you run the tubing? just along the top or along the whole front of the door as well? maybe measure the length of the tubing and let me know and diameter if you could...I'll see what I can do as far as GM goes
