2009 Aveo5 Speed sensor location

My speedometer recently stopped working, car is running high rpm to shift into next gear. Does anyone know where the vehicle speed sensor is located on the 5 speed manual tranny, I found the connection but it has broke off from the rest of the sensor. Any help is appreciated
