2010 Aveo short ram air intake

first post here but have read a lot of post in here very helpful.. here is my problem, been wanting to put a short ram air intake on my 10 Aveo..per reading here no one makes one. the other day I replaced the factory filter and noticed the nose from mass airflow sensor was tore at the bend in the elbow..looking on ebay they go for $203 for a new one..well I believe I got this part figured out how to replace with a few pieces of silicone hose and 2.5 dia. tube. this will get me back up to the mass sensor..I am wondering if anyone has made the own kit from the mass out to the fender area? I read I believe a post from a member either pickle or pebbles (sorry should of made note of name) that he made one from maybe a Honda?? again not sure of correct car made from..If anyone has any made a short ram or cold air, any advice or pics. would greatly be appreciated..

I made a cold air intake with some intake pieces from auto zone. One short 3" piece after the maf , to a 60* elbow, to a 6" or so piece, and then a 45 and the filter

any pics? what size tube did you use..the maf outlet is 2.75 i'm assuming the inlet is also 2.75.. I know a guy who has a muffler shop and they make alot of custom exhaust..I was hoping ne would be able to bend me some tubing with no couplers from air filter to maf.

3" tubing. The 3" couplers fit the maf outlet just fine
