      2011 Aveo resolutions

Its the end of the year and the start of a new one, a time to reflect and look forward to the coming year. What are your modding resolutions for your Aveo in 2011?

Personally, I just want to get all the quirks figured out and touch up the body on my Aveo.

eh, i'm hoping for a total rebuild, but its still in beater status for winter..

hopefully this summer it will at least get some paint, and such fixed.. but REALLY wanted a swap and more.

I am going to have it paid off in 2-3 months.

I am actually going to a dealer today to try and unload this car again. I tried to trade it on a Jetta when the deals were hot on 2010s. No go. Dash looking like a christmas tree didn't help. Now all lights are off (for now) and the deals on 2011 civics are unbelievable. Anybody here like civics?

Planning to return the intake to stock for better dust protection, or just grab a better filter. I just don't trust the one I have in the dust. If I go back to stock, I'll swiss cheese the bottom of the box. At least I can simply beat the dust out of the panel filters .

It's not cracked yet, but the exhaust flex pipe and elbow from the cat are pretty mangled, might replace those. In any event I'm toying around with the idea of developing a skid plate, at least for the front. Thankfully I haven't touched the oil pan yet

Planning on changing the rear shoes maybe next weekend, depending on funding. Looks like I'll be working the sandblast rally beginning of Feb, so that'll eat up a couple $$$.

Have a nasty creak in the front left suspension area when I turn the steering wheel at low speeds, need to at least figure out what that is.

      Good times!

I hear you need to pass a psych exam and stuff before the hospital will help you with that.
