I'm looking for a 2011 key blank without the FOB remote.
I see Ilco has two types, DW04RAP & DW05RAP.
Does anyone know which is the right one (if either)?
Thanks for the assistance.

if i am looking at the correct keys, the look the same, but opposite each other in grooves.
Web's LARGEST Wholesale and Retail Key Blank and Key Machine SuperStore
So I would say go with which side your groove is on, and or ask the key company.
My key
I work at a hardware store, and I can tell you there are a couple of keys that may work, but only if your key is cut deep enough. The blanks that may work are a TR40 and a B74 or something like that, its a geo metro key. As far as one that will always work, that is the DW04
To the OP: first, read this thread (click here).
If it is a chip key, any Ace hardware store can test it and determine whether it is or it isn't.
If it isn't a chip key, the ordinary blank (at least for my '09 and probably the others, as it looks the same as yours) is an Ilco X174 TR40. The blanks are uncommon and very hard to find. When I finally found a hardware store that had them in stock it took about five tries at cutting the key to get one to work. They admitted the problem was that their key machine was out of calibration and these blanks are very fussy to cut properly. A good locksmith should have no problem doing it, but he will probably charge more than the low end price of $2.
BTW, I hate the original Chevy key, which is reason enough to have a copy made. The original has a huge hunk of plastic making it a big key, which is not pocket friendly.
The key I had made for my 2009 is a DWO4RAP by Ilco. Much smaller then the original
I had a huge problem finding a spare key blank for my 2005 Aveo LT. Local Chevrolet Dealer wanted like $40 bucks for one. Eventually, I ordered online a 5-pack of Blanks # DW48R for about $12. Took it to a hardware store and they cut the key and it worked fine. Charged me $3 to cut my blank. My key does not have a chip in it.
