Edmunds.com seems to be a little confused though - they call it a 2012 model. From what I've read, the hatch will arrive as a 2011. The sedan comes a year later, 2012 model year.

It kinda sucks to know that we still have to wait like a year for its release date
at least we know they're not giving up on Aveo. I wonder what the price will be for these... since there will be another entry level gm model, Aveo's price is likely to go up...
2006 Chevrolet Aveo a.k.a. Holden Barina – SOLD
2008 Chevrolet Cobalt SS/TC - SOLD
The price will definitely go up - probably be close to the new Ford Fiesta, which starts at $13,995 USD ( http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-c ... 7332.story )
And my guess Aveo RS will be close to 20k then?

Hard to say - is there a car from another company now that you could compare it to? Fit Sport? I think they're around 17 USD?
The funny thing is: you can already spend $20k Canadian on an Aveo LT (Canadian dollar is roughly the same as USD lately... not counting this week).
