      Aftermarket Aveo Looking for a Project Car

      Hey guys. So the fiance won't let me buy an Aveo for the business. Not using business expenses, not using personal money, nothing. She doesn't understand the idea of a "tuner" and I am not going to continue to badger her for one. She will let me get the $13000 Mustang, she will let me keep the $16000 350Z, but she won't let me buy a $3000 Aveo... which would MAKE me money where the others only cost it...

      So here's what I am looking for.

      I need someone that is either around Oklahoma that could make weekend trips up to Tulsa or Norman, OK, or has the Aveo and a second car and would let me keep the Aveo for a week at a time to use for fitment and installation on parts to be marketed here. You would greatly be benefiting the Aveo community, and receive free parts in return for your help. I would prefer a 5-Speed Hatchback, but anything would really do at this point. Prefer bone stock, but again, doesn't really matter.

      What your car would be used to create:

      * Carbon Fiber Hoods (multiple designs)
      * Turbo Kits (3 different stages of performance)
      * Procharger Kit
      * Whipple Supercharger Kit
      * Custom Motor Mounts
      * Strut/Sway Bars
      * Stainless Steel Brake Lines
      * Big Brake Kit & Rear Disc Conversion
      * Underdrive Pulleys
      * Custom Body Kits (Fiberglass and Urethane; multiple designs)
      * 2.25" Cat-Back Exhaust
      * Cheaper Lambo Door Kit
      * A-Pillar Gauge Pods
      * Custom headlights and taillights
      * Aluminum Intake Manifold
      * Racing Seat Mounting Brackets
      * Cold Air Intake (Aluminum, CF, SS)
      * Headers
      * AND MORE!

      These would be taking place over time of course, but everything that is fitted and dyno tested on your car you will receive for free once it becomes optimal.

      Would anyone be willing to offer up there car for research and development?

      Or if anyone knows of an Aveo 5-Speed for less than $3k, she may let me go for it... Really want to get these ideas off the ground but it's hard to do when you don't have a car...

      That's lame, I'd say "You may be able to say something about the personal money, but you have nothing to do with the business," and just use the business money anyway. She'll get over it

      You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

      Interesting idea....

      I have an '05 hatch that I would like to see reach its full potential. Unfortunately, i don't have the resources or time. I would also like to see the Aveo market flourish. I would love to volunteer mine, but its in North Carolina. If distance isn't an issue for you, time isn't for me.

      For future reference... it's easier to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission.

      Means just do it and say you're sorry after instead of asking before and being said no to.
