Yep, original owner. I bought the car with 45 miles on the odo. Here's the clincher too... I had to replace the bearing on the passenger side. To get the rotor off, I was knocking it with a hammer and ended up leaving a bunch of tiny dents on the pad surface area. I thought this would eat that pass. side brake pad up right away, but it's been holding on since I put it all back together. Now, maybe my clutch wont last as long sice I use downshifting to help braking in most situations. On hard stops at last minute yellow lights, I'll even use the hand brake to keep the car leveled out. I try not to tailgate, as I see a big majority of people using there brakes way to often. Not a whole lot of hills here either.

honestly, clutches only really wear while "slipping" as in you creating motion to the pedal while pushing, or letting off the clutch.

If you clutch like an "on/off" switch effectively, your clutch will last a long long time (not all manual drives clutch "properly").

Holding the pedal in increases throw out bearing wear though.
