Nxt time you get your fuel door open take a paper towel and spray it with WD40 and wipe all the internal pieces of your hinge and such. It will keep water from freezing to them. I have to do that to my rims in the winter time here, because I have 17's when it snows 6"+ it builds up and actually makes it feel like your car lurches cus it has snow and ice packed in lol. Plus its a good plastic detailer under the hood lol.

You could just carry a 12-volt hairdryer in the car and use it to melt the ice on the door. :lol:
