yes i have a baselink II sub hooked up to the batt with fuse.

i probably was not out of gas as the fuel light never came on and it was above red line. (i have had the gas light come on before)

and no i have never changed the timing belt, not sure right of hand how many miles are on it.

its a sad state of affairs to have to be flatbedded to the dealer. poor aveo!! i hope it recovers quickly, and costs pennies to repair!

sorry to hear that! i'd be interested to hear what year yours is and how many miles it has. i think yours is a year newer than mine- i have an 07 sedan, manual, and i had a fuel line recall on it, so you may want to look into that. but even a year after taking it in for that recall, i seem to have recurring rpm/gas power problems.

we should compare notes.

UPDATE:

whent down to the dealer today and they said it was a airflow sensor code or something like that and that it would not clear, they said they ordered a new computer and it wont be here untill next week

is it me or does the rear tire look a lil off...like its toed out quite a bit, or is it just the angle? not tryin to nit pick but it looks weird.

lol, i took the pic with my cell phone, and the back looks low because the chains are still tightend down.

and no they did not give me a loaner, i had to borrow my grandma's mazda b2200, no ac or power steering lol

you know what theres does look like a lot of toe in the back....is it lowered?

no its not lowered, they just tightened the chains down super tight which pulled the rear down.
I will be putting my lowering springs on just as soon as i get it back lol
