if all you want is good gas mileage, then i think you could do better and cheaper than the aveo, like a metro, or even better (in my opinion) would be the turbo firefly. Even back to the sprint had some cool set ups. I personally always liked swift gtis, will import a cultus awd someday. (would cost about the same as buying my aveo)
but if you really want to go far, a tdi vw converted to run on fry grease would run you 3-4k, and could be filled for free at mcdonalds. only set back is you,ll be craving fried food all the time (seriously exhaust smells like french fries)
LOL! People think the only reason I'm looking at Aveo's is for the gas mileage. I won't buy a car unless I like it. The metro is too much of a death trap. In the USA, we didn't get the Firefly.... or the Swift. Sprint's are hard to find. TDi VW's I like are massively overpriced (and beyond that I'm not big on VW). I prefer to stay with a domestic brand. The Aveo stuck out to me for it's features, non-death-trappy-ness, good mileage, and parts compatability. I LOVE interchangeable parts.
