Aveo doesnt have MAF sensor?

i am in the fence of buying "k & N oil air filter" as my air filter needs to replace soon.
but i came across saw people saying using oil filter damage the MAF sensor.
so i when to my car to take a look where the heck is that MAF is, well i couldn't really say if i have one or none.
i have attached some photos, is that the little thing poking inside?
i thought is supposed to look like this?

By the looks of it you have an 04-08 which don't have a MAF sensor. they have IAT and MAP sensors.

You Sir are correct, i got a 08 aveo so does it mean i dont have to worry about MAF sensor if i get a K&N filter? oh thats sweet! if so.

a K&N Filter is Reusable, which means you can wash the dirt it catches out, and you'll never have to buy another Air Filter again!

You don't have a MAF so you can get a K&N filter if you want.

an oiled filter like the k&n will be ok in a maf car if it is not overly saturated in oil.. which it is not supposed to be or it will have less flow than oem anyhow.
