the m62 assembly looks enormous... you'd probably be better off with a compact centrifugal type, I think.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far the wall moves after you hit it.

No they are all belt driven so they boost the same.
Difference is that centrifugal is easier to mock up and way easier to intercool. It looks like a turbo with a pulley instead of a exhaust housing. You can even get some with internal oil so you do not need to tap the oil pan.

With the roots/screw type. You need a custom mounting plate to go onto the intake mani and all sorts of custom **** to make it work.

All things aside, turbo is WAY easier. And they can be had for cheap if you buy it off of another car. For your power needs, a 14b should spool very quickly and put out the power you want. You can get them from DSM guys.

just wait and we will have 3 different set-ups as soon as daniel gets his car (or any other) to me.

We already have a completed parts list for a turbo kit, which will bolt on and be ready to go for under $1500 (for the top parts; cheaper for others) and under $3000 for 2 different supercharger kits (one Centrifugal, one Roots style)...

how about one of those twin screw jackson chargers...

would probably cost more than the car.
