      You rebuild it for $150 and you have a turbo kit for under $500. The only thing you will need custom is oil/water lines, manifold flange welded on, and piping. You can get an intercooler from a VW for like $40. And turbo tuning is not that bad. Just take it to a shop if you dont want to do it yourself. All together, it is cheaper than a centrifugal supercharger by itself. Not to mention all the custom work that would come with it.

      i know i can build a cheap turbo kit. thats not my issue. my issue with turbo is the tuning. with the only way to tune these is using a standalone or piggyback it makes it much harder to tune a turbo setup vs a supercharged.

      its not that hard to tune. get a buddy to help ya and do some research and u can have it knocked out in a few hours.

      and as soon as xtreme gets done with his megasquirt system u will have an even easier time.
      You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

      haha. i already had to beg and plead to get the first weekend in june off for the west coast meet im going to.

      the only issue i am going to keep running into is tuning. i have a shop up here that is already willing to do custom work for me for a good price. i just need to be able to tune the damn thing haha.

      Tuning issue is easy with a DTEC or SAFC. I am just throwing ideas out to you tho. In the end, it is all your choice anyway. Good luck
