i get the same sqeak but only when the car is cold and i apply the brakes at slow speed like 15mph or less, i have about 36k
things first, I would say get your brakes checked. could be the feelers.
Take it to a brake shop and have them take a look at it. Worst case, it ually only costs about 20 bucks for an inspection.
If the car is still under warranty, take it to the dealership, and have the check it out.
Have you ever replaced your brakes? if not then they are probably on there way out and need to be replaced. bu as said before, get them check out, whether at a shop or on your own.
my pads look good, i checked them when i installed my rimz(pics of the rimz coming soon boyz), if it were by pads they would skeak when im breaking not when i get off the pedal, and it doesn't happen all the time. i guess i will get em check out when i get new tires
its probably the metal tabs that are there to tell you when to change the pads. they are meant to squeek so you know to change them, and the will squeek at random times like when you left off the brake or only lightly brake but sometimes wont do it when you hard brake....also i noticed if you brakes and turned at the same time they will sqeek too...also if it squeeks for a while but you ignor it and it goes away, it probably means the metal tabs broke off and not that the problem went away  personal experience. i never knew brake pads had those tabs that squealed, i just assumes it was mud in there because i live on a dirt road.
its weird that mine never sqeaked, i wore them right down to the rotors at 80000 miles and then replaced them. never heard a squeak once.
thouse metal tabs should only skeak in reverse if they are installed correctly
theyll do it in drive too...y would they only work in reverse? i guess it would depend on the brakesQuote:
