That should look very nice with your wheels.

Thanks! So I made more progress in getting the radiator support off the car. It required me taking the front fenders off the car.

starting to look like a real body man now.

Looking good! Glad to see you are making progress.
The radiator support is removed
after @Q5$# blood sacrifice the repair gods allowed me to remove the part
Gone plus bonus cat
The front showing the front structural beams that extend into the engine bay. There is a ton of spot welds holding the radiator support onto the car. It also provides the structural rigidity it needs.

looking good. It looks like you figured out how to cleanly drill of the layer.. I don't see too many extra holes.
So here is the irony of that... There are two ways of attaching the part 1) Spot weld it 2) plug weld it. So the part on the outside needs a hole to attach the part. So I am going to have to drill extra holes in the new support in order to get the two attached. I found the best bit to use is a dewalt 8mm bullet bit. The kind that drills a small hole and then you can remove a top layer. So I am the point where I am about to buy a welder and still not sure what to do.
So Thanks everybody for their compliments. I am learning a lot doing this project. So yesterday I worked on removing the rear shocks. However I could not get the $%&% dang mounts off. I got one almost off. So I am a bit frustrated there. I might have to cut them off.

Ouch! Bloody well done! (sorry, couldn't resist) very nice work, thanks for documenting such a complex job!
Worked on the shocks last night. Did the grinding to put on my new coil-overs.
I am having to buy all new shock mounts both front and rear. I can't get the rear parts off. The fronts are just too crappy to keep.
