I believe you can figure out what cat you need using the Rockauto.com website. I use this site a lot, and sometimes I can get parts there which are unobtainable anywhere else. If you go to the on-line site. look under CHEVROLET, 2004, aveo, exhaust, catalytic converter - it brings up a list of cats for the car. Click on Info, then on 'What cat is legal for my state' - it tells you how to figure it out. Good luck.

Don't forget to order new gaskets or the O rings. The cat does not come with those (even though it should).
Please do not power off, firmware update pending.....

I got my 2008 CC change for free in 2013. It was toast, the honeycomb was destroyed. Lean/Rich fuel. The heads get gunked up on the bottom and there isn't much that can be done outside of pulling a bunch of stuff out to get at it.

I put homemade seafoam in my tank and run it thru the vacuum hose once in a while. Helps for a little while.

"Under federal law, the catalytic converter and engine-control module are covered for eight years or 80,000 miles."
